Hey I'm glad you got the call for your first interview. They do take their time! I wont even be able to give my current job a 2 weeks notice if I get the call this week.
Written Psych wasn't bad just long lol. About 1000 questions, asking the same thing in different ways. Take your time and stay consistent. Also make sure whatever you put down matches information you've already handed in. They want you to be consistent across the board.
The oral psych was straight forward. Asking the same questions you've probably answered before, just to see if you're consistent or lying. My psychologist was very chill, he didn't drill me on anything. They ask why you want this job, and then ask about history. A tip that was given to me was do not give long answers to questions. Less is more in this case, because they're trying to evaluate everything you say, so don't accidentally dig yourself a hole by saying TOO much.
@Greendude210 do they give academy class twice a year? How long was your first interview from your next step?
I really don't know how often they do the academy
After the interview with my investigator on 11/19, I got the email for JST on 11/21. I got the email for written psych on 11/26, and after the exam you can choose when to do the oral (they'll give you a list of dates). And lastly I got the email for drug test on 12/26. Just remember to look through your social media and delete anything they might question, including any friends that post anything sketchy.
