I moved out from NYCHA in October 2011 to marry my boyfriend. Things are not working out and I would like to know if I can request to move back into the New York City Housing Authority?

Only married 8 months. Give it some time. Maybe he will learn to tolerate you.

When drugs are involved, it is hard to tolerate the issue because of the small ones around us. Thank you.

Do not tolerate anything, especially for the sake of your children.

Few addicts, whether to alcohol or whatever else, actually recover. Beware: when they see that you mean it, they will begin the good behavior.

There are places for women with children in your situation, perhaps someone has specific suggestions.

Yes, you can request to move back in. Since you have a child you will be given priority, but you may not get a choice of the best developments to live in.

It might not be so easy since you are legally married.Unless you get a divorce first,he might automatically have to be a part of the process. It might also matter whether he is the baby daddy. You will be treated as a new applicant with all the questions and investigations about marital status, fathers of children, child support, etc. It would be easier if you were not married and could say that you don't know who the father is or whether he is alive.
