I will be driving to NYC from Providence, RI. Where can I park and get a bus/subway to see the World Trade Center Memorial and the Statue of Liberty? I would think somewhere up north but I am totally unfamaliar with the city.
Why not take a bus or train from Providence? Driving into the city and parking is probably more trouble than it's worth. If you really want to do it, and you're only going to the World Trade Center Memorial and the Statue of Liberty, I would drive to Jersey and take the Path Train.
If you dislike Amtrak and buses, Shore Line East is a slow option and has cheap parking. Or try a Metro North Station in Connecticut. Driving to Jersey makes little sense, wrong side.
