There are plenty of threads related to Jamaica Queens but nothing recent. Does anyone have any opinions about this area? More specifically, I am considering a place near Brinkerhoff and Brewer.

I had to go through the area about a year ago. I saw this kid with his pants literally around his ankles. They were off lol. And he wasn't some homeless dude, he was probably some 19 yr old kid. His freakin pants were basically all the way off. I was dumbfounded.

if you live near jamaica ave you can get the E, J and F trains and the LIRR! and if you dont there's buses that will take you there quickly, im right by JFK and I like how easy it is to get to Long Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx from Jamaica ave.. Honestly, the shopping malls on jamaica ave could be better, I shop at the rego park shopping mall i love it over there and its really close to jamaica ave too. great place to live for traveling to all 5 boroughs and LI
