I hae been working for a popular salad place in Manhattan for a month now and there has been many issues such as being transferred to 3 stores and not getting many hours. I was trained at 1 store, told I would be staying there then switched to a brand new store then 6 days later, I was transferred to a brand new store where I was finally making more hours. I've been at the latest store for a week now and was paid in 2 checks, one for the first 3 days I worked at the previous store and one for last friday. the smaller check went through fine but the larger check did not go through I was livid! The bank said it was something wrong on their part so I called the manager at my store countless times and since it is the weekend, there is nothing they can do. What on earth am I GOING TO DO IF I CANT GET MY MONEY ON MONDAY? I refuse to work for free and this sucks because I have been dealing with sucky hours, sucky management and now this! Has this happened to anyone else?

People don't work on the weekend. Call Monday and have them reimburse you.
