The United States distributes entertainment domestically and globally and that is a huge industry. Why not the South Bronx? Last year, a company called Real Bronx Tours attempted to make money by exploiting the local 'entertainment.' They were shut down.
The right approach is for the people of the South Bronx to make the money for themselves, celebrate their neighborhood and show America that it is not 1980 anymore.
Here is what they did:
South Bronx
At this time, Talent Production Agreements have been executed with a production company in Burbank California and a new sizzle reel is being created. Then the show will be shopped to networks. Likely candidates include VH1, Spike, BET, Fuse and Bravo.
