What's the Asian population like in East Harlem? My family is moving into the projects there, but I'm attending graduate school and my brother is also going to college, both out of the city. They'll be moving in from chinatown manhattan, so that's going to be a huge change for them.

Yes, the NYT article mentioned the growth rate, which was massive. There's also a Daily News article.

there are next to no Asians in Wagner. the majority of wagner is mostly black & Hispanic.

Wagner pjs are the worst.. They should try to get into the pjs on the uws, les or Chelsea

Wagner is no good. While most areas in E. Harlem have seen huge redevelopments, that area has remained largely unchanged by gentrification efforts in the city. More Asian are moving into East Harlem but not in that area. They are settling closer to the 96st/103st/110st stops on the 6 train. The 25th police precinct sits close by but that has stopped it from being a huge drug corridor and one the worst areas in Manhattan.
