I find a package left by UPS on my front door with the correct address to my house. It was sent from
a Chicago address, but I don't know the sender or the package recipient. I called UPS and they said
they will take the package back in two business days. The name does not match previous landlord or
anyone I know.
Same thing happen before with the same recipient name and my address on it few months ago, but
last time it was delivered by the mailman. And when I told the mailman there is no such a person with
that name living in this house. He took it back and told me it would be treated as dead mail. Any of you
guys ever got packages like that before?
I would just open it, but if you're really worried, put on some latex gloves along with a mask, and open it. You never know, it might be something important and you're just sending it back. You could also try looking up the return address online.
Thanks for the advise guys. I'm just a little worry criminals might be sending illegal stuffs using my
address, and then one day some law enforcement agents will kick down my door in the middle of the
night for drug trafficking or something.
