I'd be all for S&F as long as the OP agrees to endure a nice frisk in front of his neighbors and coworkers every time he steps out of his home or office. Something tells me his attitude would change pretty quickly.
I guess it is easy to say since it does not affect you in anyway. Consider this how would you like someone to come up and stop and frisk you because you just happened to be white? What if they are real nasty about it as well?
For the safety of more people in the society, if it means to sacrifice some group of people? then by all means because there is a reason for why this group of people

How about once each year, which is less than the average for young black males?
Somehow, I doubt you'd favor S&F, under any circumstances.
How about if you were involved in activities which attracted the attention of passing officers?
Do the police have the right to investigate street dealers? Thieves? Lookouts?
If you're not one, or acting like one, you have nothing to fear.

NYC settled out of court with the plaintiffs. The city retains the right to stop and frisks those actively committing crimes or in the process of committing crimes. Per the court's ruling, stop and frisk is perfectly acceptable in those circumstances.
So all this is a moot point, the anti Stop and Frisk movement is basically OVER!
