Two years ago this lady was discriminating against an African American girl with HIV.Calling her names and wishing her death.Feeling superior.Last year the same lady that was discriminating was diagnose HIV +.Get it? Be careful what you wish or want for others...you never know where are you going to be two, three or ten years from now.
People need jobs on order to do that.If a person on welfare tries to get a job to get out of welfare ..the benefits are cut right away without give them enough time to save enough to get out of the system...the whole thing is design for the poor to stay stuck or pin against the wall. Welfare is not what it use to be.A person on welfare is allow to receive benefits only for five years. The Gov figures thats enough time for someone on welfare to get the act together and get out of the system.
there are way more poor people than well-off people.
that's why rich people usually go and live in gated
communities somewhere. now try to explain that.

Alternatively, control your own destiny through hard work and smart choices.
"Get it" ?
Can someone actually believe that bad behavior is a cause of HIV infection.

So then if the benefits get cut right away, let the person returning to work deal with that. There's no reason for them to have be allowed to save up any extra money. Once the paychecks start flowing in the working person can pay for their own food and bills. Rent might be tight, but in the meantime rent a room if you have to. Stop making endless excuses and be an adult and deal with your own life.
No one is forced to apply for welfare, and no one is forced to stay on it.
^ i don't think you understood. they might not really make enough money
to catch up, so they will most likely wind up falling back behind is what the
other person was trying to say, i think. excuses have nothing to do with it.
that's just plain reality.
so how many thorns have you eaten already today anyway?

How did you find out the medical history of the lady who was discriminating?

So then they have to deal with financial issues and budgeting like ANY other working person!!!! Get over themselves!
