I honestly don't know why there's all this negativity surrounding the Super Bowl...It's a big event for the city. The tickets are overpriced, as always, so there's no surprise there. But I'm looking forward to checking out Super Bowl Boulevard tomorrow (with my Tom Brady jersey!) and I'm not going to let the doubters bring me down!.

“Where are the people?” asked Pat Hughes, the owner of Lansdowne Road, on 10th Avenue. “We are a sports bar, and the Super Bowl has brought no additional business.”
I am really against these northern Super Bowls. To big a chance for miserable weather and I don't care what you say, football in miserable conditions sucks.
No interest here...it's like the male version of the Miss America pageant.
All that nonsense in Times Square making believe New York has anything to do with the teams or the venue is preposterous. Denver is playing Seattle in East Rutherford, NJ.
New York is behaving like the kid who was specifically NOT invited to the party crashing it anyway.
Not a single crap is given, the only football I care about is the one that's played in over 150 countries

I prefer the real one.
I'll never understand people like you. Likeminas, you come to a discussion about football** only to say repeatedly how much you hate the game. You try to convince us of your superiority because you like the "real football" and we're just a bunch of loser because we like the American version. Who ****ing cares what you think? If you don't like it, don't watch it. Go watch soccer and enjoy it. Then, maybe you should find a nice councilor or homeless person who you can yell at about your insecurities.
**No, I won't call it American Football...I called it that when I lived overseas. I'm home now and it's "football." I'll call the other "football" soccer.**
