Is Brighton Beach in Brooklyn, New York City the base for the Russian Mafia in the United States? I heard that there has been Russian Organized Crime in Brighton Beach since the 1980s and 1990s. Are the Russian mobsters in Brighton Beach Russian Jews or ethnic Russians?
Nope. Not any. You should come down and walk around the area. Except for the train it's pretty quiet in the evenings and you may enjoy a late night stroll on the boardwalk with maybe a stop into one of the cafes.
