You said, "If NYC is the greatest city then how come not all rich people wan live here?" and I simply gave a response. Nice to change your argument around to your fitting though.

Its all part of the same. U wan base yo opinion on the rich who flock to NYC to enjoy all it has to offer, and thats cool because many of them do, but this thread is about living in NYC, not visiting it. How many of em actually choose to live here? I bet not a lot. Visiting and living are completely diff things. Most of em come here, do their stuff and GTFO, even if they keep real estate here so my question remains.
All im sayin tho, look at the real situation, forget the rich, GDP, number of museums and restaurants and other useless stats.

I think NYC shouldnt try to speak up when it comes to crime...When it comes to ghetto crap, NYC area is like a buncha Detroits, Chicagos and St Louises combined in a one huge slum. U also conveniently disregarded the nice, low crime cities like Seattle, Denver, Charlotte, etc.

I make a lot of money specifically because the above quote is complete BS. NY has many millions of the dumbest, laziest, most wasteful "human beings" ever to walk the planet. If you really believe this total nonsense you just spewed, you've certainly never set foot in NYCHA.

Says the man from Paterson NJ. When's the last time you've walked down 12th Avenue at night?

My justification is that my career is too good, and nearly over, so leaving would be ridiculously stupid at this point. As soon as I can though, I'm gone. We've narrowed down our list of places and we've been spending 1-2 weeks every year visiting them not as vacationers, but for research purposes. I really wish my parents never moved back here when I was a kid.

What a fool no? Apparently driving 4x4 trucks is worse than sitting on a stoop drinking beer every day/night for 23-25 years before catching a bullet in between SSI payments. This place is bizarro world and too many people fall for its intoxicating spell.
