I laughed pretty hard at this! Reminds me of my friend, who kept getting mad that she couldn't find an apartment below 96th, over 600 sq ft that would take her 2 cats for $1500.

Many of them post here. A favorite phrase of mine that I see over and over is "I have seen apartments for $n in X neighborhood..." and then when you question what "I have seen" means, it ALWAYS means they have only seen online listings and half the time have never even stepped foot in NYC. I didn't watch the video. I know a lot of apartments do not allow pets. However, usually you can get away with having cats or other pets that do not need to be walked or make any noise. However, a lot of people have trouble keeping their place clean with pets and end up bringing down the quality of life for everyone else in the building. These people would have done the same if they lived in a house or their own condo. Their lack of hygiene standards means they shouldn't be living near anyone.
