Hello everyone just stumble across this site and had a couple of questions. I recently got my new credit card in the beginning of August. I know it takes time to build credit but will i get disqualify from all the lotteries i apply? I also have been working on my current job for 1 year and 6 months i heard it has to be 2 years so is it meaningless to apply because i really need to get out of my current place. Please any answer will help thank you

Don't give up my credits not the greatest and I just signed my lease for a lottery apartment. They are however very strict with income and they check everything,,

Apply now to EVERY lottery. It can take months, even over a year to get contacted.
Yes some do move fast but some move very slow. I put in an application for 45th almost 2 years ago and they are STILL looking for people, I interviewed just over a year from when I mailed the application.
Only way you get ahead in life by being proactive

ahe, I agree with livingsingle...apply for all affordable apartments.

By the time they get around to you it can be years, your credit will have improved if you are very careful to pay everything on time. My dearest friend waited 15 years for a Mitchell Lama.
If they offer you any more cards, take them, charge everything you buy, and pay it all off immediately.

Question: for getting your first credit card offer this month you must be VERY young? Are you?
