I know most (At least the high paying ones w/ job security) cybersecurity jobs are in the DC area, whether it's with the government or with a gov contractor.
But what's it like in the NYC area? Moving back here in NYC, I'd like to transfer positions back into the cybersecurity industry but haven't found something I like yet...
Any info sec professionals working in manhattan want to weigh in on the current job market / typical pay rates for a professional with 3-5yr cybersec experience? Opinions on any job function is fine, from security analysis, to penetration testing, to defensive warfare, etc...
