I don't know what the fascination is with ferries. You have to find your way down to the ferry terminal (assuming you even live close to one), then when you arrive in Manhattan, you have to get on a bus or subway to get to your destination and that's assuming you don't have to transfer to another bus/train.

Thoughts? I like the minimum wage increase proposal along with the inflation tracking. Never been a huge fan of subsidized housing. And ferries are a novelity when you literally live across the river from Manhattan. Wouldn't kill you to walk 15/20 mins to a subway station.
This guy is literally insane. He wants to provide ferry service for the price of a subway ride? The mta is already raising fares just to be able to provide its same shtty service - so where is all this money for ferries coming from? Even at $5/6 a ticket, ferry service still needs to be subsidized.
And more affordable housing? When is enough enough? Where are you going to put all these people? The infrastructure is already overloaded. When your best plan consists of building housing over live train lines, it may be time to say enough is enough. Think how insane that is.
I am on board with equal opportunity. But this guy wants to implement equal outcomes as well.
He's helped middle class a lot and they always get burnt.
I just feel bad his wife is pretending to be straight when she clearly likes women.
