I recently received a closing date for my apartment that I'm selling in queens (a coop). I'm also buying an apartment in the same building (just larger) but have yet to await for a closing date. My broker just called saying the tenants in the apartment I plan on buying need more time until they find a place which is absurd because once I sell my place (which would be really soon considering my closing date is this upcoming week) I'll have no place to go. I also do not wanna go through the hassle of finding a place to rent out until the people staying on rent in the place i'm about to buy live there...what can I do? There has to be some legal action I can take, right?
