Hello everyone! I am moving from Raleigh NC to NY with a 14 year old daughter and a 7 year old son. My daughter is going to be a fashion designer and my son would like to become an actor. I'm very interested with providing them with the opportunity to attend a fashion high school and taking acting classes. I'm currently in the Clinical Research field and work from home and my husband will be working in Manhattan. I'm opened as to what part of NY I live in but I am looking for a safe area with great schools and a family friendly diverse environment. I am looking for a 3 bedroom and my budget is 2,500 a month on rent. Thanks in advance for your help.

Read the sticky thread up top and some other posts about moving to NYC. 3 bedrooms on your budget will be very, very tough in Manhattan.

Thank you! I actually prefer not to live in Manhattan, I prefer Queens, Bronx, or Brooklyn.
