Here are my suggestions for the best locals experience in NYC:

1. Stay as close to Times Square as you can. If you can't afford that, stay over in New Jersey by Newark Airport.

2. For the best pizza in town head over to Sbarros.

3. See cultural landmarks such as the desnudes on TS.

4. Walk under the Lincoln Tunnel for the best view of the Bridge and Tunnel crowd.

5. Go to Staten Island.
