I got a ticket for an expired registration tag on my windshield the day after expiration. BUT, I had the new tag sitting on the dash in clear view beside the old tag (lets not get into why i didnt put the new tag on the window, lets just say i wasnt thinking), and a picture of it. I even have evidence i purchased it before the expiration by ways of the temp registration. The judge found me guilty. Any chance of an appeal getting this over turned? If so what are the steps?
OMG I JUUUUSSSSSTTTTTTTT came back from fighting the same thing... The judge took 2 seconds to find me guilty.. I was totally ready to plead my case.... Non the less, you will not win, since they scanned the expired ticket.. They didn't pull it from the sky, so whether it was improperly displayed or not displayed at all, the ticket is against your expired registration. Nothing you can do but kiss your $65 good-bye!!
