Bruce Jenner or whatever his name is now does not seem "oppressed" or "supremely marginalized".

No.
These people definitely need help though. It's a proven psychological disorder caused from overexposure to Phthlates and Bisphenol A resins (usually in the mother through prenatal injections). These exposures disrupt the hormone cycle and cause gender development issues in the brain.
