Does anyone know how long violations stay on the website?
I got a ticket in Flushing 10/12/15 (when the shop did my inspection in Sept 2014 they didn't punch a hole in the sticker and I was overdue for a new inspection anyway) and forgot all about it until I found it a few days ago in my glove box.
The violation says "Insp Stkr Counterfeit" with the comment "No hole punch, no permit"
I went online to pay at
https://secure24.ipayment.com/NYCPay...ycbookmark.htm
but when I enterd my plate number it wasn't in the system and when I put in the violation number it said
"Violation Entered has been flagged as deleted (Error code: PB-101)"
At first I thought great, the ticket was dismissed
but now I'm thinking that maybe it's still in the system somewhere accumulating penalties and interest. And I just can't pay it online because it's way past the "you must answer within the 30 days of this ticket" limit?
Any ideas?
