Very sad and disturbing video. The ratchetness on this video is beyond infinity. Again a woman provokes a fight with another straphanger, Instead of fighting the woman, the straphanger beats up the woman's boyfriend as a result for arguing with her. I hope this guy gets arrested and looses his job for sure.

You're wrong about the word. They are not trying to say "wretched." They are using an urban slang word, which is "ratchet" and apparently is widely used. Why would you hope he gets arrested and loses his job? He hit someone -- so he should lose his job? Really? I can see an assault charge, but I am not hoping for one. What I am hoping for is that the guy got to get to his job safely and home with no drama and no more ghetto women spitting on him on any of the rest of his commute.

Apparently you're not keeping up with the low-class subway fighting news in NYC subways. I don't blame you; the news is not that interesting. But since you're not keeping up with it, you shouldn't accuse OP since clearly he's just referring to the well-publicized incident that happened a week or two ago where the "woman" threw a hissy fit about not being able to hog a subway pole, threw a tantrum on video, and proceeded to slash a guy in the face.

I don't think Bronxguyanese is misognystic. Bitter about relationships perhaps, but he isn't a misogynist. There are bad WOMEN just like there are bad men, and yes BAD women do start fights.
You're making out one sex to be all evil and the other sex to always be innocent angels. That's called misandry (the hatred of men). Its wrong to hate ANYBODY regardless of GENDER and it's wrong to DEMONIZE ANY GENDER.
