So the mayor now wants to dictate how a "private" business chooses to spend their profits? You don't have to agree with the owners views and you may choose to avoid the chain on those grounds. The real question is do they ever treat an employee any less/different because of their personal choices? I think the answer is no.
This guy is pathetic. One would think he has more pressing issues to worry about. It's almost as if the whole city is populated by people who are comfortable enough to care about this issue.

To be fair, it didn't sound like he had put time and effort towards this cause. Looks like he made that statement at an unrelated press conference, which leads me to believe he was asked about it by a reporter.
