Specifically in queens, to any other area. I know the Q60 here goes all the way to Manhattan and goes over the bridge but it's only a short drive over it. Anyone know of any others?

I took the Q32 one late afternoon from Jackson Heights to Penn Station.
I think my hair grew an inch in the time the ride took.
Never again.

Why is that even a thing when you can take the E train from Jackson Heights to Penn Station?

Need to employ those bus drivers somehow! (There are a bunch of bus routes that essentially duplicate subway lines and ought to be eliminated. The Q32 is one of the worst offenders, especially as it doesn't really add any new handicap accessibility, either.)

I guess it also provides some relief for the subway lines, as many of them can be quite overcrowded at times

I've taken the Q32 from Sunnyside into Penn Station once just for the heck of it. Wasn't in a rush. The riders on that one bus tended to be more elderly.

Q10 goes to JFK Airport and I believe it uses a segment of some highway to do so.

This. Not every elderly person is able or willing to climb up or down stairs to take the trains. Of course, in Manhattan, many of the bus riders are in fact elderly for that very reason. And the Q32 (as well as any of those buses that cross the Queensboro bridge) can be very useful if the trains are messed up or one feels like killing time.
