I thought I could start a thread on these two lotteries. I have very high log numbers for both buildings, which means that my chances of getting a unit are basically zero. I do however want to see how the selection process goes for those who get it. Both buildings are in my neighborhood, but I didn't see a CB next to my log#s, (I forgot to update how long I've lived in my current apartment before submitting my applications) so yeah. Has anyone gotten an interview date or something for either or both lotteries?

That sucks. I've been denied 4 times because I was either over or under the income range. The 4th time really bummed me out because I had seen the unit I was going to get, and I had paid a deposit for it.
I wonder whether they have started sending out interview letters yet. I live in a decent and quiet area in Mott Haven. I would save at least $500 IF I were to get a 2 br in one of these buildings. I am paying more for a 1bed at the moment. All of my log #s for Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn are beyong 50k so I'll take what I can get. Is there anything we should know about the immediate areas where these buildings are?
google the addresses and building histories, KoolBabies.. Look at the streetview as well. I gave up on one lottery on the bronx (gm management?) because all 6 of the rehabbed buildings were former slum buildings with a notorious past... Not that they aren't great now, im sure, but it's worth looking into and researching.
Ok. If they contact me I'll stop by and check out the surroundings and do some research. I don't hang out much around here, but I know that some places are crazy.
