Hi,

So I'm waiting to see if HDC has approved my application for the Morris Ave apartments and the wait as you can imagine is driving me crazy. So I interviewed back in September and they did credit and background check in December and it was approved. Management approved my file and sent it over to HDC to final approval. Although they were still waiting for them to get back to them, I was able to go view the unit that is "assigned" to me last Monday. On Thursday, management called me to let me know that HDC is reviewing my file but requested two more pay stubs from October which happened to be a month after I interviewed. So now I'm waiting again and I'm guessing that I should know for sure soon. Does anyone know exactly what HDC checks for as far as verification? My thing is why would they show me the unit if there was a chance that I wouldn't get the unit?

Thanks!

Hey guys,

So apparently I have been denied because of my credit.

So crazy because my credit is above 620.

Oh well I guess I'll go with my Plan A which is to invest in a condo.

Best of luck to all!

So sorry to hear that news but investing in a condo is also a great idea. I have a question. Did you get denied from management themselves or after your file was sent to the city?

Hello guys! They just sent me an email saying they need updated pay stubs from me, my 2013 and 2014 taxes, and an employment letter. Let's see.

Was this before your file was sent to the city?

probably you file has been rejected due to not having credit instead of your score . when credit has been check these peoples looking many things such as paying bill on time, eviction.etc. I spent 2 hour reading the new guideline, credit score is not only a factor. she was rejected by the management company i believe.
