A coworker of mine delivers pizza on the side for extra change and makes frequent runs to the "Hotels" in Bellerose currently housing homeless families. He told me most of them have multiple children, some pregnant with additional children. Of course, he hates to deliver there because they never tip. Personal responsibility out the door. Me, I'm heading out now to work a 16 hour day today to support my family. My shift starts today at 7am, ends 11pm tonight. I busted my ass through nursing school and WAITED to till I was financially ready to start a family. This country would be such a better place if people were more responsible and did not bring children into this world that they couldn't afford and then it falls on the backs onto working suckers like myself.

Because some global conglomerate pizza chain that makes billions in profits won't pay him enough so he doesn't have gripe about homeless people not subsidizing his income .
This country would such a better place if corporations were more responsible and paid people a livable wage.

While this is true, I'm sure most people who don't tip are just cheapskates or *******s, not idealogical objectors

I agree.
I too work hard and never had children that I knew I couldn't support WITHOUT government assistance.

However...these children are innocent (even if their parents may not be).
They didn't ask to be born, and we can't abandon them.

^ Well then you would just be reinforcing the cycle. The women know that so they'd just have more babies. Since you feel it's not the babies' fault, you help them. They know you will help them if they have babies, so they have babies. You feel you have to help the babies, so you help them. They know you will help them if they have babies, so they have babies. Since you will help the babies...

Do you see the pattern?

No one is forcing anyone to deliver pizza. If the job doesn't pay enough, don't do it.

Also, no one is forcing those "homeless" families to buy pizza. If you can't afford to tip, then don't order pizza.

Remove children from these types of parents and give them to foster families who can support them.
