They filter all manner of things. They won't let me access the dating portion of the craigslist menu. I'd just like to find a girlfriend, though all my posts seem to reap are a bunch of come ons from prostitutes.

Not that I think CL dating is a good idea (I don't), but I'm not blowing smoke. As long as you are over 17, you can turn off the filter if you want.

Of course it's legal. You are legally allowed to watch whatever you want.
However, most libraries tend to have filters, which block porn.
I remember there used to be a guy at the Midtown Manhattan who used to bring a kind of three-sided cardboard box, fitted meticulously to the computer screen as a shield, and I assumed he was watching porn.
Now that I think of it, it may not be "legal" to ask someone to leave, unless they're being blatantly offensive in some way.
