The court should rule some time soon. Should the developer win, they will build a shopping mall next to Citifield, and ultimately thousands of apartments. In they mean time they've evicted and demolished a number of auto shops.

I would like to see something like Hudson Yards over that way. Great place for development to relieve pressures elsewhere in the city.

It will end up being an extension of Downtown Flushing. Chinese money will gobble it all up in no time.

I guess it's time to change the 7 express to a super express from Flushing and Willets Point straight into Manhattan. Currently you can't even get on the train after Junction Blvd so you can forget about getting on the 7 express after Willets Point after this gets built.

Willets Point development was a Bloomberg initiative. He just ran out of time before it got pushed through, and then it stalled due to change in administrations and court action.

De Blasio has further rezoned parts of the city like East Harlem, Jamaica, and East New York for redevelopment. Bronxguyanese is right, he is Bloomberg No. 2 Or Bloomberg the sequel!
