The average salary for a Dog Walker is $24,000. Salaries estimates based on 27 salaries submitted anonymously to Glassdoor by Dog Walker employees in New York City, NY.
Another couple quotes showed about $15 per hour.

according to the job site Indeed, an average dog walker salary in NYC is $45,000.
Off the books (and I know I rail like hell about nannies getting paid off the books in these forums im a hypocrite I guess). 15 dollars an hour is more if they walk your dog in a giant group of other peoples rag a muffins. It's more like 20-25 an hour for individual walks. I think most people opt for just a half an hour. I have my dog on a combined walk with one other dog to save money. And before anyone screams at me, I eat rice and beans for dinner to pay for this. Don't ask me why, cuz I don't have a sane answer. Walks for dogs during the day if people work are VERY important, more important than child-care really. I'm not sure why it's not tax deductable and there aren't doggy daycares around that can help defray the cost, but apparently human children are more important than fur babies and we ALL HAVE to pay for everyone's human childcare collectively.
I do think that in 20-30 years from now, universal dog care for working fur baby parents will be a thing. Of course my dog will be dead by then, but eh.
