What your thoughts on Jerome Ave rezoning is it over for The Bronx ?
"The proposal for Jerome Avenue would allow increased density in order to stimulate mixed-use development and the creation of affordable housing. A share of all new housing would be made income-targeted under the city’s mandatory inclusionary housing policy, and more housing could be made affordable through the use of city subsidies."
Pretty shifty corridor for most of its length, more than 30 min commute for the most part. I'm indifferent since I don't live on that stretch, but having been there I hope it gets better.
i hope they build tall and high. i despise jerome avenue
This. I want to see some more "hi-rises" that aren't just projects, Co-Op City, River Park Towers or Tracy Towers. As a few board members might say "they ain't sh*t."
Just for fun edit: I play a city building simulator and tried to emulate a version of Co-Op City recently in it. Pic attached below. Hehe.

Just a whole bunch of affordable housing being built aka new projects
I don't understand why NYC continues to put a band aid on the affordable housing problem
