Just wondering what you all would suggest for some good "quick bites" in the city. It seems like pizza is the go to food...but there's gotta be some other good places that people go to for a quick bite when they're on the go or limited on time...etc.
Where are the rest of the delicious little hidden gems? Other than pizza...is there anything else you'd recommend? Could either be in Manhattan or any of the other boroughs.

In Queens, in a pinch I've gone to a few of these Brazilian buffet places where you can pick what you want from what's already made, pay for it and eat and be out in 10 minutes. The two places I've been which were pretty good are Point Brazil in Astoria and Aroma Brazil in Jackson Heights. Two other quick bites places people seem to love in Jackson Heights are Cafe 969 (Japanese onigiri, etc.) and La Esquina Del Camaron (tacos, etc.). Both of those have been reviewed in the NY Times, but I haven't been to them yet.
Food carts and food trucks are your other quick option.
I'm not sure what you mean by "quick bites." There are diners, of course. And there some good food carts. It might have helped if you specified an area.
I barely even eat pizza in New York, I'm more into tacos and halal for quick food. Neither are hard to find.
Oh and I get bodega sandwiches often but those are boring to me.
You only eat pizza out of state? Weird, but probably one of those racist things you got going on.
