Never happened to me. But that's probably because I don't look like a transplant.
You have a kind of odd obsession with "transplants." Must be coming from a place of insecurity. If the number one thing you're proud of in your life is where your mother popped you out, that's pitiful.
You probably love it when someone hands you a cd and then bullies you to pay for it, too.
A guy in Union Square did that to me once, handed me a CD and I was caught off guard and kept walking. He yelled out, "Hey that's 10 bucks!" So I turned around and gave it back to him and said I'm not paying for this. He said, "but you'll take it, won't you, TAKER!"
We should be hearing from Nywriterdude shortly condemning the actions of the showtime performers. Oh wait, he's okay with physical assault, it's just the words that hurt him.
Those "performers" are a dangerous pain in the ass. It is only a matter of time until they kick someone in the head and put him in a coma. They should be jailed.
I would think it appropriates for the MTA to be sued BIG TIME for any injury. Any jackass could see the inevitable injury coming soon.
"If you SEE something, SAY something." Yeah, RIGHT.
Performers should be separated into different categories. The ones that play music, sing, read poetry, etc. are fine and should be allowed. It’s the acrobats doing flips, jumps, monkey bars and other gymnastic moves inside cars that should be banned.
Lol
Last time my mom and i were on the train she gave them $5 So see where i get it from lol.
Her reasoning is that it keeps them kids from selling dope or robbing a convenience store.
So, bribing away the problem? Just creates more problems, in the long run.
Reminds me of when I personally saw some "showtime performers" harass an old woman when she refused to give them money: one of the "entertainers" told her that she should give them money, otherwise she wouldn't know if they would rob, rape, or beat her up in the future. Hardly a good sales pitch ...
IMO a better use of that money would be donating to some youth program.
There's a tennis program in DC (for example) in an area that sees only 40% of teens graduate high school -- but that program sees almost all of their teens graduate high school.
