In order to be licensed by the state, in recent years teachers have training on how to spot and report abuse (physical or sexual) as teachers are mandated reporting. Also teachers have to take a workshop on bullying (students can be bullied at school by other students or even by school state at times) and how to respond to bullying or fights.
Implicit bias training was always the next step, and in the workshops teachers for their masters programs there's already workshops that confront various kinds of biases teachers may have. As teachers are teaching students from a variety of backgrounds, different students will pose different challenges.

Those that needed extra help got it.
Yes, on my own unpaid time.
Those that did not care fell to wayside
under their own weight.
Approximately 8 failed my class
out of 400 students total.
Plain and simple.
