Actually nobody died, I doubt these paper weights even had any explosives in them. This dude is just a run of the mill disturbed wack job who wasn't getting enough attention and now he's going to be made an example of and spend life in a cell being' some big guy's girlfriend

You've got to be kidding. You think an attempt to murder prominent politicians, or people involved in politics, is inconsequential? For that matter, you think that an attempt at multiple murders of anyone is inconsequential?

They were fake by accident. He is totally incompetent and didn’t know what he was doing.
