I wonder if anyone here will actually be able to read the article since its behind a pay wall
Copy and paste the title of the article into a Google search box and then click the link that comes up. Maybe the pay wall will be gone. It worked for me.

I ended up logging in with my account to read it. I was more interested in the comments section of the article than the article itself.
I find it strange that the board members themselves were involved in it and as far as putting up illegal walls.....how far can the greed go SMH.
I fully support this. My lease STRICTLY prohibits this nonsense, and you have people living in expensive apartment buildings that don't know who in the hell is coming and going in their building. It's a scary situation. You never quite know your neighbors, but I like some level of familiarity so that there are at least a few faces that I see and people I can speak to, rather than random people coming and going at odd hours. It certainly wouldn't make me feel safe. My building is very quiet, as it is mainly single professionals and that's the way I want it to stay.

With or without Airbnb people will continue to rent out their units to others short term and sublease. The city can regulate it but it will never eliminate it. It’s impossible to eliminate something that there is a market for.
A d if you’re this afraid of everything, see a shrink. Take a medication.
