The snow caught MTA and city by surprise dumping half foot of snow. MTA buses was stranded, there was subways, commuter rail, buses delays, traffic jam on every street.
How long it took you to get home yesterday and transportation to get home ?
Same amount of time as usual. It sucked going to Target and getting a haircut, the snow felt like hail, but my commute from work to home was flawless. I got lucky.
Going home only took about 20 mins extra BUT at night time when I had to go somewhere else, the bus was just NOT WORKING and I had to pay 30 bucks for an uber that normally costs 8
My usually 30 min Via ride straight up the West Side Hwy took 2 hours (1 hour at Holland Tunnel and 30 min at Lincoln). However I’m glad I didn’t have to deal with the crowd and grimy slush at the Times Square subway stop.
