Let's face it. Whites aren't all rich, but they tend to have a more stronger network when it comes to economic resources that they can fall back on as opposed to black and brown folks. Same is true with Asians. They may come over here dirt poor, but they use their networks to help them build wealth over time. It's these networks that allow some groups to prosper while others are left behind. I'm sure some whites will say well how is that our fault?? Easier said than done. Most of you can walk down the street and people may not know what your background is whereas a black person... When they walk down the street, their background is clearly visible and they may be treated as less than for one reason or another. The reality is that yes, unemployment is at historic lows for black and brown folks, but they are not necessarily getting into those white collar jobs so easily. That's where that network I talked about comes in at...
