Is it just me or does NYC rain burn?

So I was standing out in the rain because I needed to cool off. But now I am indoors and my face burns.

Whats going on, is this acid rain?

Maybe you had some kind of toxic residue on your face before the rain activated it. Who knows what’s going on behind some of the closed doors we pass. Maybe you walked by an amateur chemist trying to mix up some nefarious new drug. Maybe the kid is legit and on his way to a Nobel prize. There’s 8 million stories in the naked city. This is one of them.
