Looking for new rental or home / condo to buy. Aside from bayside, what's a good place far eastern queens close to LI border but also closer to south shore vs north shore (no interest in great neck area ).....thanks

That depends on what your budget is... Northeast Queens is more expensive than Southeast Queens.

Opinion: Ever considered Flushing? Diverse...middle of the road affordable. Not so on trains but plenty of bus routes.

how is Flushing not on trains? it has LIRR, and 7
and it is the most expensive in all northeast queens. 2 bed luxury apartment are selling 1 million+

Depends on what you're considering Flushing. There are areas of Flushing that are not near the 7 or the LIRR.

this statement is true of any neighborhood. Flushing is most transit friendly neighborhood in northeast queens

Not really. The greater Flushing area is quite large and goes up by College Point and Whitestone, neither of which are near a subway or the LIRR.
