And they are happening in low crime neighborhoods too, which I know you are always on the lookout for, so i'm letting you know.

you can't get any safer than the 111 pct
As rims are now alloy, people should be using a lock nut. Trying to remove a rim with a single lock nut will now bend the rim rendering it useless (in addition some rims have been shown to crack).

Never fails to crack me up! You read in SI Advance about some eegit whose left wallet, purse, cell phone, etc.. in their ride overnight or something, then are *shocked* their vehicle got jacked.

This happens out on South Shore well as nicer parts of North Shore (where people have stuff worth stealing), and always SMH.

You don't leave stuff in your ride period! Well if necessary you put it out of sight such as trunk, under seat or something.

A good short documentary on this issue.

One, it cracks me up these immigrant Eastern Europeans who freaking lived off a few potatoes a week in the old country, come to USA and start exploiting any and everything they can to stuff themselves. It isn't just Jews either who scam, scheme and connive, but seems like every other Eastern European comes here and runs game.

Two, how much does anyone want to bet those street/sidewalk car washers aren't also scheming and conniving. Telling city, state and anyone else they are busted and broke thus getting all sorts of subsidies or whatever such as housing, medical care, etc..., meanwhile they are racking in darn pretty good income each month without paying a GD cent in taxes.

This is common throughout the world. Best way to decline the service is a curt no thank you and the finger wave. It's definitely "opt out" and not "opt in."
Opinion:
This is attributed too the mayor.
Mayor Giuliani ran a relay race to finally dispose of all of them. Mayor Bloomberg carried the baton for 3 tenures.
DiBlasio dropped it. This is a result of failed policies and welcoming the return of Broken windows...........
