I was watching that movie "Rainy Day In New York" (2019) and was wondering if anyone can identify which restaurant is this because I can't find any info about it

That's Bemelmans bar in The Carlyle Hotel at 76th & Madison. Ludwig Bemelmans who did the Madeline books did the murals and the lampshades, too.

Yes, it is Bemelman's. I was all set to go there for a drink and ambience when I found out that martinis start at $21. Too rich for my blood.

I know!

We brought my kids twice to see the art work - my daughter loved Madeline and Miss Clavel. This was almost twenty years ago when two adults drinks and two Shirley Temples equalled the price of a dinner out.
