you mean:

you don't "understand" this yet ? ("idiot mayor is trying to force all the bars in the city to close")

even I get it....i may NOT agree with the mayor on 'bail reform' - and 'progressive liberalism' but i've always felt he's a good person inside...

....(so secretly, i feel bad you called him a name -- it's NOT easy getting up there in front of THE WORLD and speaking about this....
he must be under enormous pressure -- including the governor).

you're pissed off cause people can't go out to the watering holes to drink?
that's it? over a world crisis ? holy sh1tt. ('scuse me).

i'm just JANE PUBLIC....i haven't been bothered by anything he is saying on the subject.

Why do you say "Note, last Saturday, the bars were full."

what is the relevance of that?

Last Thursday was the key day, when everything started shutting down, when the runs on the supermarkets got real, when it was obvious this was happening. And still on Saturday, people were packing into the bars. It show there are a lot of people who won't play ball with the lockdown.

Is it worth it for a holiday that is primarily an excuse to get drunk?

We'll find out. For some people that's the best type of holiday.

As an Irishman myself, I'm glad the bars are shut. They breed the Wuhan virus. Just shut it down for a month and see what happens. We have all year to get drunk.

I like you QueensGuy your head in the right place. BBMW just wants everyone to get infected from some odd reason.

No. I think most people who are going to get the virus in NYC likely already have it, and all the shutdown will be ineffective.

So suppose there are 15 people at the party. Three of them just got coronavirus 1-3 days ago and they haven't had symptoms yet.
So you're saying it would be impossible for them to spread it to anyone else at the party?
