I have no problem going back to work and getting $0 from the government. However if the government is keeping people's jobs closed then they should be giving them money.
If I made the same amount working that the government gave me weekly, I would still prefer to work. I don't want the money from the government ...I want life to open up again!

The problem is that one government is closing things and another handing out money. I don’t get anything (which is fine) but will be paying for all these poor policy decisions (which is not).

Meanwhile how many government workers lost their paychecks throughout this pandemic? How many are getting stimulus funds?

A friend in Manhattan said he got his $600 deposited to his account yesterday. I called my bank: nothing yet.

You sure they don't think you owe money? People are getting their checks in the mail...
