Persistent bank robber Jamie Frierson died just nine days after being released from custody.
This guy was in lock-up again after being arrested for a series of bank robberies, and went right back doing what he did best, jacking yet more banks including an Apple bank in the Bronx.
Apparently his main concern was dying any place but in custody, and thanks to judge who granted release (to healthcare facility) that is what happened.
In less than two weeks he held up five banks located on or near Broadway, collecting more than $10,000.
Only $10,000 for five robberies? And that's not even including transportation costs. What's the point of criminality if it's not more profitable?
Tellers aren't supposed to keep large amounts in their bank (drawer). Once things go above a certain number they have to cash out their drawer. In fact most places with cash registers (department stores/retail, supermarkets, etc.. all have similar rules.
This is why sometimes there can be long lines but a register is closed or suddenly does so and you see the clerk counting out their drawer.
Whole idea is to lessen possible take from any robbery. This is why these eegits keep hitting up banks over and over. They aren't getting huge sums from jacking one bank, so they keep doing it again and again.
In any event I don't see the late Mr. Frierson's end game here. It's not like he can leave that stolen money in a stash for his family to find and use. If money wasn't recovered LE and FBI (and or whoever insured banks) will be all over his family, and watching them closely in future. Anyone who starts living large will draw instant attention.
Then again who knows these days; that eegit stole two buckets of gold and not only escaped LE and FBI but made his way back to South America. He was finally caught but to date there still is no trace of all that gold.
The average bank robbery nets the robber less than $4k. Banks simply don’t keep much money lying around like the old days. Most banks don’t even have a vault. Almost all transactions are done electronically.
Like it or hate it the following is only my opinion.
Excerpt: Broadway Bank Bandit said " And if I have to die, I’m just hoping that I can die around my family and not prison," .
Response: When I die I pray that my sins will be forgiven in return for a seat in heaven................
