They didn’t even try this in the 1970s when cops were around.

Good. Imagine risking jail to stop someone from painting on someone else's property. Yeah, no.

This is not even real NYC style graffiti, its suburban style graffiti that a "boiled dinner" suburban radical like DeBlasio would do with his suburban "microwave hot pockets" Massachusetts wife.

Why should the officer do anything when they are constantly being stab on the back for simply doing their job?

I would have done absolutely nothing either if I were a cop. Cops should do the absolute BARE MINIMUM possible in this climate of absolute anarchy. Why would anyone risk not going back home at night to their family to protect the property of a city that despises you anyway or to protect criminal enablers like De Blasio and his awful wife?

Let Cuomo and De Blasio deal with the mess they allow and created with their pandering and cowardliness.

Risk jail or a pension to give a desk appearance ticket that the perp won't even show up for? Not worth it.
Send a social worker to counsel that poor misguided youth so they can channel their anger in a different way. Maybe propose he make a BLM mural to help give comfort to the downtrodden in the city?
