Has anyone noticed whether or not Macy's and Penney's are open for shopping (not curbside pickup.)

After Labor Day is usually CLEARANCE of Summer clothes and since I have lost 35 pounds I need to replenish my shorts collection to Size 34 from size 36. So that's Penney's.

I have worn out one of my recliners and I like Macy's furniture (9th floor.)
I cannot buy online without sitting in it. (I am a delicate flower.)

How about Jack's...open?

Macy's seems to be open: https://l.macys.com/new-york-ny

I don't know about the others, but probably open too. Most of the stores in Brooklyn are open as usual, and many of the stores I saw yesterday in Manhattan were also open.

Just go to one in the Malls out in the burbs. Traffic be easier, parking is free, and just overall much less of a hassle.

Yes, it's open. Try getting out that basement of yours and taking a stroll outside. Maybe it'll help cut down some of that fear mongering of covid19 you do on CD when you see all the mask-less homeless people laying on the ground.

Macy's has a dedicated Macy's Furniture store in Queens. From its website, it looks like it is open with reduced hours:

MACY's is open. Went there about 2 weeks ago, to use the restroom. Ended up shopping due to the great deals.

JC PENNEY is permanently closed on 32nd street!
