When I saw that on my news feed this morning while eating my breakfast, I was like, "c'mon!" Like this ban even has to be placed in the first place. Have we come to this?
Did we really need a specific rule for this? Its common sense.
Honestly the few times ive seen some huge poops on the train is was done by a dog. We have folks that walk these big dogs on the subway (huskey, labs, etc and sometimes they just stand up and take a huge sh1t. Owner just gets up and walk the dog out of the train leaving the poop behind and the poop looks big enough to be a human sized poop. Very common if you are on a train that goes local along Central Park east or west like the B/C or 1/2

We have sadly. I notice the subways seem to be a lot cleaner in recent times. I recall in April getting on a subway with several homeless passed out, and a literal river of pee. I never saw that much pee in my life. It was like 3 racehorses had been there.

Havent seen that at all recently.
Jeesh. When I see old footage of 70's NYC, I see all these "no spitting" signs. Are we now going to see "no pooping" signs? I wonder if "the dreaded 70's" NY was even this bad. Btw, I've been taking the subway and they've looked clean to me. Then again I only take two lines, the 7 and the N. I'm not ready to go all adventurous & take multiple lines all over Manhattan. Not anytime soon anyway.
Growing up, I remember seeing signs in the subway say "No Spitting". I guess we've gone downhill since then.
